Help! Need to recover videos.

Discoverd today that my videocamera map in Quickpic was lost, must be deleted in some way
My OPO is not rooted.

So when Im connecting my OPO to my PC it finds the telephone but not as e:,f:... It find the device name, so Recuva or ohter recoveryprograms wont recognize it.

The problem is when Im going to use this program is that the phone restart itself all the time.
I have read that it is much easier to recover files while OPO is root, but I find to problems:

1. If I root the phone all data will be erased.
2. If I root some programs might overwrite lost data...

Anyone know any other solution to this problem?

There are apps available that will recover lost or deleted photos; however, those require root which you are attempting to do. Rooting, in a lot of cases, will factory reset the device. If you are unsure of the process or don’t want to factory reset then that is not an option.
