Help needed after flashing CM7

Hey pville, I am now back to stock froyo but still rooted. I am not sure why after I installed everything I had the same problem. I also don't know why I had two PB31IMG files on my sd card after restoring everything (PB31IMG.zip and PB31IMG.zip.zip). I am not sure if I should delete Titanium and rom manager from my sd card then reinstall them fresh but I really did like the way cm7 looked and would like to try it again. Do you have a good file for cm7 I can use to download to my computer then I can put it on my sd card to try and reflash. Also when I do that, do I need the PB31IMG.zip file on my sd card at the time I flash and what version should I use.

anicholas7 - you should delete both PB31IMG files from your sd. the .zip.zip is the first files that would not flash. the .zip is the one that worked. Neither is needed now and CM7 works with the 2.x clockwork's as well as the 3.x.

You will have to reinstall Titanium anyway when you install CM7, just do not restore everything willy nilly. Bookmarks are ok, and app data for angry birds and the like are ok, but nothing system related.

Use TI to be your list of apps and to restore data only for those apps that require it to save your place. Go slowly. Don't use the restore all batch. That's where thinks went wrong.

Is this link the full version. Just want to make sure because I messed up with downloading a link that was just an update.
Just to make sure I do this right, I just download this file to the root of my sd card then reboot phone into hboot and install zip from sd card and choose this file to flash.

Yes this is the full version.

Install in recovery, not HBOOT. Once you are in recovery wipe data, cache and dalvik then flash the CM7 .zip (yes the file name says update, but it's the full version.)

Also download the most current GAPPS, you can flash this immediately after flashing CM7 without wiping anything else before you reboot. It will ask which google apps you want to install during first boot.
