Help. Outgoing Gmail not working

Hello,

I just discovered that my outgoing mail via the tablet isn't working. I have some VERY important items sitting in the outbox. It turns out that once in "sending" mode in the gmail app that comes with the tablet, you cannot view what you composed although you can see the original, incoming mail. Therefore, I can't copy/paste my e-mail to send another way given the urgency.

If you can help me, I really appreciate it.

These are the steps I've taken and any possible pertinent info. This may answer some questions you may have

1) Yes, I have working internet access and restarts don't help
2) There are no Android Menu settings that I can adjust to make this happen that I have found after going through every one.
3) It was working until about 2 weeks ago apparently based on the send dates of what I just found in the outbox.
4) This is affecting BOTH the system mail app and the one for gmail. I just tested it to be sure. Incoming works fine.
5) I have noticed that it has not synced read or deleted e-mail since I got it which is very annoying.
6) I suddenly lost root a month ago (on Taboonay 2.2) thought I didn't do anything to affect it so I don't have any access to "behind the scenes" files to check any adjustments.
7) I try the sync options from the mail as well as account settings but get no change.
8) I can't get root access, so I don't know that I can change a kernel or install a different rom now and NOT lose he complicated e-mails I'm trying to recover. I have CWMod installed, but I don't know enough to know if I can reinstall a previous version of the ROM or any other and get root back. I don't know that much about it.

if you have CW recovery and made a backup, boot into it and choose the restore option after wiping data and cache. after its done simply reboot tablet. But doing that will erase your emails.

I've already wiped the respective caches last week for a different issue.

The goal is to SAVE the current outgoing e-mail. I took a chance and flashed "back" to the 2.1 version of the ROM. I now have root!

Can anyone figure a way to fix what's happening if I have root? Outgoing mail still doesn't want to work. The goal is to recover two particular outgoing e-mails for work.

im using Thor ROM V14.1 and not having any issues with my gmail.

I dont think youll be able to recover a lost email...id try from a desktop, that would be easier than doing it from the app
