HELP please "daily quota exceeded" error while importing iCAL file

Hi all,

Yesterday I was having some calendar issues with my devices and my online Google calendar, so I decided to start over and delete my main online calendar and re-import all my events from my exported backup. I have done this before with no problems. Yesterday, I had to import, delete and re-import a number of times while I was trying to troubleshoot how to get my events onto both my XOOM and my Thunderbolt without duplicates. After a handful of imports, I eventually got an error stating that only 163 of 6307 events had imported and the rest had failed because I had exceeded my daily quota. Is this normal? How do I fix it and/or when will it reset if it is normal Google behavior?

Thanks
Steve

did you ever figure out what to do? I have a similar problem. I am downloading my lotus notes calendar into an ical file which looks good but when I import I get that message. I cannot easily chop the file. Maybe repeating events are with no end date and I suspect that is one of my issues.

I, too, have been getting the "Failed to import events: Daily quota exceeded." It imported 13,167 out of the 13,168 records in my 3.7MB ics file (12 years of Palm .dba data). There was just one record that Google Calendar was objecting to: a repeating event that had 379 exclusions (EXDATE). I deleted that record, and the rest go in without any errors.
In my case, I assume the "daily quota" refers to a specific event (record), i.e. exceeding the maximum number of daily excludes.
