Bro, always read the stickies. As far as your root is concerned, try this site: Android AdvicesHow to Root LG Revolution VS910 without Downgrading Firmware - Tutorial - Android Advices
Make sure that you follow all the steps, ie have the correct firmware, downloading and installing the drivers, etc. I also downloaded and installed the LG mobile support tools like it said, but it found no updates and ostensibly did nothing. Good luck.
