Okay guys, I dont usually post here, but with the people at XDA giving me a cold shoulder on this thread, I thought I would try it here. Okay, just so you know, I have an 8 gig nexus 7, that was recently bricked. I have adb installed, and adb connects to the computer when I plug it in. When using a toolkit (or attempting to I guess) I try to restore a nandroid, or whatever, and it always says that fastboot device can not be found. The reason I am bricked is because I accidentally wiped all internal storage. So I have adb installed, no rom, a working recovery, but it says that the fastboot device cant be found. Although it recognizes adb. What do you think I should do? Thank you.

With the power off hold volume down and power to boot into the bootloader (fastboot mode), that's where you have to be for fastboot to work :)
