my GS3 freezes after rethink possible at the samsung screen what do i do it will not go past that screen.

I'm not sure what the issue is, but I figured I'd ask the questions that the next poster would probably want to know the answers to before being able to help:

1. Has this phone been rooted/hacked/modded or changed in any way?
2. Has this phone been dropped in water?
3. Have you tried removing the battery and restarting it?
4. Have you tried any of the reset options presented on this page: Samsung Galaxy S3 hard reset - PDA Smartphone PNA hard reset soft reset
