OK, so about a week or so ago, my phone said out of memory when I tried to use camera. I checked and both the internal and external SD cards were gone. Obviously, physically still there, but not recognized. So I rebooted, and they were back again. Since then, about once a day this has happened. Rebooting gets them back again, but it does not last. I turn off the phone at night typically, so it gets a fresh boot every morning.

Well, now a new problem has started. Today, my wi-fi won't activate. When I click on it to turn it on, it looks like it comes on, but after a few seconds, it says "can't scan for networks" and then shuts off.

Anyone experience anything like this? Is there a way to reset the phone back to the original config? It has never been rooted or anything like that. Just a bunch of apps installed from the market.

thanks

Well, now after a couple reboots, the SD cards are not being recognized at all anymore. Tried removing the external card, rebooted, and the internal is not being recognized. Very frustrating.

Yes! From your home screen, hit the menu button, then go to Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset. This will put your phone back to out-of-the-box condition, so make sure you backup anything you need.
