This is pretty bad because i really like those videos. I am not sure whats going on. Phones new. Micro SD card is new. Videos were ok were in the internal storage. I copied them over to my new 128 gb external SD card and now they are unplayable! I am not sure if this is am android or permission issue somehow or if the files are becoming corrupted and lost forever. This is very strange because other older videos i copied on to the SD card are playing fine. Its just the newest videos. I am trying replicate the problem by copying new videos onto it and seeing if they are playable. They are playable so far. I dont know if they will also get corrupted in a few days. Any help is appreciated. The SD card was bough brand new. Is it overed by a warranty? Cheers

Welcome to Android Central! The SD card could be corrupt, defective, or counterfeit. Install SD Insight to see if the card is genuine or counterfeit. Counterfeit cards are programmed to report more storage than they actually have, and if you try saving more than the card can actually hold, then files can start getting corrupt. (Be aware that SD Insight might not work on all Nougat or above devices.)

If it's a valid card, then go to Settings>Storage, Unmount the card, remove it, and insert it into your computer. Can the computer read these files? Backup as much as you can right now, then run chkdsk to look for bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html.
