No, copy the zip file itself to the sd card. ClockworkMod knows how to unzip and install the ROM from the zip file.

Do you know to get the gingerbread update to work on the phone when its S-OFF? I ran into the same problem but I had backup ROMs. I had the same problems with it not installing and rebooting. Sure there are ROMs for gingerbread (I have one) but I'm trying to remove AlphaRev and CloxkworkMod. Any ideas?
