Hello all,

I have a Samsung S4 and all of sudden in the last couple of days it is having major problems starting up.

I am getting the following problems:

>The phone does not start up properly and cannot use it because it never boots up properly
> It gets stuck at the Samsung S4 logo screen
> It doesn't even get to the Samsung S4 logo screen at times
> When charging all I get is a lightening icon and doesn't tell me the % it is at while charging

I have tried the following:
> Wiped the cache partition as per this instruction: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-27777
> Deleted the data
>Fully charged my phone

I have observed that when I take the battery out and put the phone and battery in a cold place for a few hours the phone gets past the Samsung S4 logo screen to the colourful next page but it gets stuck there and crashes. Sometimes it takes me all the way to normal login but again it crashes there.

What can I do please?

Probably get a new phone...
Maybe a factory reset would help...
If you have Samsung experience centres near you, take it there and maybe they can put it in Odin mode and have a fiddle...

Could it be because I used my Samsung Fast Charger plug to charge my S4 and it has fried the circuit?

It seems odd that after putting the phone in a cold environment it goes further in the start-up process.
