Help searching contacts from phone app

So when I type in a contact name on the dial pad and that contact has multiple phone numbers, how can I chose which to call. If I wanted to call Billy, I would type 2 then 4. Billy's name appears, but I can't choose to call home vs mobile vs work.

type the letters, just as normally, but instead of clicking on the person's name (which would place the default number on the dialer), click on the number at the right, and THEN select the name, it will show you every phone you have for that contact

Thanks, that did the trick. I really wish there were an option to open a "card" for each number without the extra clicks.
