*Help* Should I Buy a New CHARGING CABLE?

I bent the micro usb plug by dropping my charging phone from my desk a few weeks ago. I dropped it again this morning while snoozing my alarm and it got bent even more. I tried to bend it back in place and it somewhat worked. It's still at a 60? angle if not less and as I try to bend it more toward the original 90?, electric sparks sparks out of it. Should I buy a new cable? It still charges my phone but I'm scared it'll set off the battery or something worse like burn down my room. Where can I get a new cable? The cables I've looked at on Amazon have reviews saying it doesn't transfer data or that it's not by LG so the battery ends up decharging faster because the cable is different in some aspects. So any place where I can buy a new cable that is guaranteed manufactured for the opV?

Those cables are very common.
Go to a hotel front desk and tell them you left your charger in their lounge or something....they will have 100s from were people leave them after checkout and will give you one no question.
