Help to realize a gift to an Handicapped Woman

Good evening everyone
I ask for help
I would buy a simple tablet, uninstall all the software and only install whatsup that works with wifi
The person with limited mobility and unfortunately with dementia problems, should just turn on the tablet and find on desktop Whatsup software.
I would like to give her the chance to find only 2 buttons on the desktop: Call X and Y, with a picture of each person.
So, she can make video calls to the sons, they both are abroad.
Do you think i can do something like that ??

this is a simple task you only need some launcher modifications and I also recommend get a tablet with android marshmallow+ to take advantage of Google Assistant, it would be great to control the tablet with voice.
