Can some please help me update my EVO 3d firmware as I am stuck how to go about doing so since I'm root an didn't back Up the stock ROM

are you s-on or s-off ? if your s-on you will need to relock your bootloader and RUU back to stock and take the OTA then htcdev to unlock the bootloader again and install your recovery and then flash the rom of your choice
