Help with Facebook Photo Sync to Contacts without staying logged in to FB?

I am a new owner of a Razr Maxx HD; so far, really loving this phone.
I like syncing pictures from FB to my phone contacts, but would prefer to log out of FB as I don't use it that often. But, as soon as I log out, I lose all the photos I synced. Is there a way to permanently download the pictures so they "stick" instead of disappearing each time I log out? Or, is there an app that does the same thing (but again, does not stay connected full time to FB)?

I think the only way to sync is to stay signed in. If you don't want all the notifications you can go into you settings via the app and turn off all notifications so that it will not alert your phone.

Try the app Ubersync for Facebook. I've been using it for a while now. You can schedule when you want it to sync, or just do a manual sync when you feel like it, as I do. Works like a charm.

Hi - have you had any luck? I'm experiencing same issue - driving me nuts - want to log out of Fb but by doing so lose all photos in contacts. Have a Sony Xperia Z - but my previous phone Samsung galaxy S11 - no problem - never lost any photos when logging out of Fb! Need help...Anyone??? :-\
