Help with file rename

I'm trying to rename my pictures but so far the apps that I have been using won't let me do a batch rename, only one picture at the time . Is there Any application that would do that?

There is one in the play store but even the developer says it's not user friendly.
I have tried using infraview, faststone, etc. from my desktop but it doesn't see my nexus.
Probably will have to just copy them to a computer and use a program to rename them and then copy them back to the phone.

Thanks, that is what I being doing, I just downloaded the new pictures with the date, fix and renamed them, and copy back to my phone. Until there is anything better out there.
