Help With Gmail App

Hi. So I when I first got this phone and set up my gmail it pushed to my phone and I got a notification in the corner perfectly l, now it doesn't work I have to go into the app and refresh for me to get email any idea how to get it to work.

You have to change the sync settings on your phone.

Go to the gmail app. Tap on the top right to get into the settings. Click on your email. Check to see if notifications is checked.

You can also check the sync settings for gmail on your phone's settings.

Go to "Settings > Sync (Or Accounts & Sync)" Make sure "G-Mail" is on.

You checked the sync settings on your phone and in the gmail app?

You didn't ask for this....but, is use the K-9 app as it lets me IMAP unlimited email accounts into one icon (but, I can either group the incoming emails as one or seperate email addresses). So, then I turn off the Gmail notifications and it works flawlessly for me.

He can also try aquamail as well.
