I have to use a headset in some cars I drive (that don't have built in bluetooth). My Jawbone Icon worked well with my Motorola Electrify. But with Samsung Galaxy 5, I can make a call, but then the bluetooth within the call turns off and I have to either use the phone to talk, or push the bluetooth back on in the phone. It's only the button within the call that shuts off, not the whole phone bluetooth. I can't figure out what to do to make it remain on bluetooth for the call. Any thoughts?

I have the icon too, and I dont have any issues.
If I'm close enough to my S5, I'll just say "ok google" and say who I want to dial. Else, I push the jawbone button and say "ok google".
Not sure what might be happening with yours. I'd start with deleting, rebooting the phone, and repairing. Sometimes a phone boot will solve a multitude of issues...
Also, I'm on 4.4 on the phone; Have you updated your jawbone with their update software?

I went to MyTalk (Jawbone) today and it did not show me any updates were available. However the voice dialing worked today. I also did a few random calls to test, and it appears there is an inconsistency. Sometimes, it doesn't work properly. I have yet to find an explanation for that.
