Until now I have been runing around with a fairly insecure GS3 because I did not like the lock screen functionality. After a friend's phone was stolen I decided to change that and lock my phone. The problem is that I am not happy with the way Android does this. I prefer a 4 digit pin like iPhone without having to hit OK. Just enter 4 digits and the keypad is only the numbers 0-9. Can I get that? Right now I use the pattern but I much prefer a PIN.
My other question is about pulling down the notification bar while the phone is locked. I want to see the notifications without having to unlock the phone. I check these often and I would prefer not having to unlock just to view this as it requires lots of extra keystrokes (so to speak). Is there a way to do that?
