Help with model 6603 on AT&T

So I just got my z3 model 6603 and went to AT&T to get it set up, everything seems to be working great except for its only showing hspa+ when I connect to mobile network instead of 4g or 4g lte, is this normal? I had the guy use an AT&T phone imei number but still isn't showing lte or 4g. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having trouble similar to the original poster (but worse, I think) - I just got my D6603 Z3 today and after getting a new nano sim from the ATT store, I can see signal strength bars and make calls, but there's no text at all (G, E, 3G, etc) above the bars. I tried setting up / selecting two different APNs that I found at apn-settings.com (one matched an "official" att apn guide), and I have confirmed that my network mode is set to "LTE (preferred)/WCDMA/GSM". Not sure how best to proceed - any suggestions? Thanks.

My apologies.

I was originally having connectivity issues, but at some point I must have resolved them and didn't realize it. In my case, I didn't realize that when connected to wifi, the type of cellular connection would not show above the signal strength bars. Turning off wifi allowed me to see my cellular connection, which was listed as 4G. My APN was set up per ATT website instructions for 4G Android phones. Good luck to those with connectivity issues.

I suggest you do this instead to get the AT&T settings. See this post of mine here.

Depending on your preference, if you want the LTE icon/notifications instead of 4G (which is used in Europe), you need to flash your phone to a different country firmware. Also depending on which one you have, you can also select the kind of roaming too.

I'm on ATT and just want to confirm that this model, 6603, is the one to get. Thanks!

Also does the unlocked only come in 16gb? I can't find any other variations with higher storage.
