Help with my BACKED UP music on my SD Card.

Ok, I did a 2nd factory reset last week. Prior to doing the reset, I backed up my music on my SD Card.

After the reset, I see the following on my EXTERNAL SD Card using my file manager.

- Music Folder
- List of all artists that I backed up
- When I click on the artist, I see the name of the album
- When I click on the album, I get DIRECTORY IS EMPTY!!!!!!

So, I can't play any of the songs I backed up to my SD Card.

I hope someone can help me recover them.

Do you see these files if you take out the SD card and plug it into a PC?

Could try to unmount then re mount the sd card.

I believe whatever files you backed up to your "sd card" and then did the reset, those files are gone because the "sdcard" isn't really your sd card, it's the "internal" sd card.. not your "external sd card" which is the physical card you can remove.

First of all, I backed up to my EXTERNAL SD drive not the internal sd drive. Second, I tried to view the files on my computer and the songs are not there. The Artist name and album names are there but no songs. :-( PLEASE HELP!
