Help with N1 and froyo

Need help here

I'm on a non rooted T-Mobile N1
Followed the instructions posted everywhere

Flashed the update fine, phone booted, like mentioned the first boot was very slow, BUT here is my problem

After letting the phone boot for a while the animated logo just stops and the phone does nothing

Pulled my battery, went back into recovery, did a factory reset, would not boot
flashed the update, same thing happened

Right now I have a phone that doesn't work, looking for help either getting back to 2.1 or getting the update installed

One other thing I noticed, when it's done installing the update, I don't get an "update complete" message, the phone just reboots itself

The Fix

when you change the name to "update.zip" you are getting the an error. To fix this and make it install follow the steps but just change it to "update". this will install it. I was having the same problem.

The file is named correctly and loads fine, phone just can't fully boot

Yep, got my phone flashed to release again, may or may not try the leaked version, but at least my phone works again!!

I would wait for the OTA if you are having issues. Dont wanna harm it
