Help with navigation. Please

Ok I have a Droid Incredible and I noticed today when I click on the Google navigation I get a message that comes up that says " checking navigation availibilty" and just stays that way. It doesn't matter what my location is. Any ideas please?

Uncheck Google location services, see if that helps, I have an app that if that is checked gps location is a problem.

Tried that too. Unchecked them all. Restarted phone then rechecked them. Still no go

Occasionally Maps can not get a GPS fix for me. I need to open another app and find my location using that app, then Maps finds me. I have MyTracks for example, for running, downloaded.

Not sure what the problem could be then, usually if the other 2 are checked and google location services isn't the gps works like a champ. I can't replicate that message on my phone. Here is a link to xda maybe one of these solutions will work

Have you cleared the cache is the nav app?

Menu -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Select "All" -> Maps -> Clear Data and Clear Cache

I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest google maps update....that worked
