Help with ROM Manager

Unrevoked doesn't unlock Nand I believe and that's required to install CM6.

Hey man, so did you start out with Unrevoked 3 in yours? Now you are running a new Rom? What were the steps that got you to this point now?

I rooted using simpleroot2 idk why but I didn't get super user status from it so I used unrevoked and then I was able to flash roms. If you want to flash roms you need full root. Idk if you can simple root but if you can do it. Its awesome.

I have a question, I don't like clockwork recovery my favorite recovery img is AmonRA , ROM MANAGER let me install amon ra via rom manager or only can install clockwork ?

All the way at the bottom of rom manager you will see "flash alternate recovery" click that and it will flash AmonRa

Ok, Can I use Amon_RA and install ROM via rom manager, or rom manager only works when I have clock work installed ??

Only clockwork will flash from rom manager. I use AmonRa. Clockwork is known for not wiping correctly. So better safe than sorry I say.

Check SuperUser to see if there is a green or red light next to Rom Manager. You have to be NAND unlocked for everything to run properly.

Install SuperUser from the market... then run ROM Manager and install the Clockwork recovery again. You will get a popup to grant root access, tell it to allow and it should work. Fixed me up, had the same issue regarding it attempting to run privileged commands after rooting using SimpleRoot.
