help with S6: shows no service with AT&T SIM

Purchased a new Galaxy s6 from best buy this morning. Went to put in my att sim card and its showing no service. I tried calling att tech support and they can't get it to work either. I notice that the network information isn't in the phone and I've tried manually puting it in and still nothing. Anyone have any other ideas or is it a bum phone?

did you check if the phone was unlocked? and fully working before buying it also have you go data services turned on

the phone might be locked on a network. the question is which one? you will probably have to try different sims from different networks until you see it work

I personally would take it back to best buy and have them replace it. I wouldn't leave until the replacement is up and running.

Yeah my work phone is Verizon and even tried that sim card and same thing no service. The access point names are blank and everything. I had to manually put in all the info from my other phone and then I searched for network and nothing. It says it's unlocked on the box. I'm gonna take it to best buy tomorow I spoke with someone there and they said they will have att "specialists" there tomorow. Some reason I feel like I'm gonna know more then there supposed "specialists " do. Anyway it's worth a shot and if anything I return and or exchange it.
