I'm trying to figure out how to use Samsung Health on my G3 Frontier. It seems that many of its features work seamlessly in the background, whether I want them to or not. But, if I want to go for a hike and measure the distance when I'm done, is there a way to set or reset some activity (and which one) to have it measure my distance for each hike? My Location setting is set to wireless. Should I set it to wireless+gps, but does gps use a lot of battery? If there's a good reference for Samsung Health, I'd like to study it. Thanks.

The number of steps and mileage is measured from midnight (00h) to midnight the next day - 24h, you cannot reset the mileage during the day, as far as accurate mileage measurement is concerned, it always deviates slightly from reality. , the best way to check your mileage with Google Maps and compare with your watch is to see how far your measurement goes .....

Thanks! However, I just saw that, if I go to the option to record my workout and tap Workout, I can select Walking, Running, Hiking. etc. If, for example, I tap Walking, the watch will begin to record my distance, time, and a few other things. When I'm done, pressing the Back button stops the recording and displays time and distance. There's also a Finish option that will allow me to start from scratch. When I begin my walk, the G3 notes that it found my location, which now is set to wireless only. GPS would be more accurate, but my guess is that it runs constantly and eats battery life. So maybe I stumbled on a way to do what I want.
