Help with soft bricked evo please!

Fred, I have a question. The RUU index page has .exe and .zip files. Can the zip files be run from the SD card?

Either way it keeps giving me the same error. A few post back someone asked if the zip file could be downloaded and unzipped like the PC36IMG does?

I have success. I took the zip file and renamed it PC36IMG and it took me back to stock 2.2 thanks for all the help and i will read on the proper way to rooting my phone. Thanks again for all the help.

Ok, so after spending 6 hours sitting at a Krystals for free wifi, after getting the phone up and going again, I went on with my day. I have not had time to start playing with my phone again. Well I just connected to the computer to tether the internet over and noticed that I'm missing my option to mount my phone as a disk drive. Is there a way to fix this or am I going to have to pull the sd card everytime I need to access it on my PC?

You might have to flash the rom over just wipe your dalvik and cache and flash the same rom over don't wipe data or anything that usually fixes thing when stuff is missing try that.if anything just wipe everything and flash that rom it wont hurt if you didn't set everything up already lol
