My T-Mobile GS5 has about 1.2 gigabytes available. Whenever I try to download the update however, I am told I don't have enough space. Does anyone have any ideas?

you definitely need to delete a few unused apps and then try again.

Edit. while you're at it you might as well clear the cache. :)

you made the extra space needed by deleting the video :)

Edit to clarify - lollipops a large update it will switch you over to Android runtime which takes a little bit more space also ;)

Nope you should be able to go ahead and update :). but I would still just get rid of a little unused stuff later on down the road.
I would still recommend you clear your cache before updating just in case you may save yourself some trouble down the road also ;)

EDIT
to clear your cache, power your phone off then hold down the power button volume up and home button at the same time until the phone vibrates and comes back on. Then use your volume rocker to select clear cache use the power button to clear it. once it's cleared select reboot and you should be good to go. Doing this after downloading the update may delete the update and you may have to download it again. So I'd suggest you clear your cache after updating.

Clear the cache after an update, because updating might cache something when still running the old version, so you'll have to do it again.

And if it's the Lollipop update, I'd read a few threads on different forums about that version on the Tmobile S5 before installing it. It works fine on some phones and carriers, it's terrible on others.

Thanks all, finally deleted some old screenshots and got enough room. Loving the update, and having minor issues!

they should come up automatically as you receive different notifications when you open your lock screen they will be there. you can turn them off or just turn certain ones off by going into interruptions I believe.
