HELP!

My brand new GN3, I believe, overheated. I connected it to a charger and it doesn't seem to be charging. There's no light...nothing. Does it take some time for the light to come on? Did the CPU overheat? Did it burn out the processor? I had a bunch of documents on there... I sure hope they aren't lost.

What makes you think it overheated? Have you tried pulling the battery out and putting it back in? If I recall, when my S3 got completely empty on battery it wouldn't even turn on when plugged in until it had a bit to charge.

I'm just guessing. It's been on the charger for 15 minutes now and there's not charging light...nothing. What can cause this? The last thing it was doing was syncing and I know it can get hot while it syncing. This sucks.

Could there be a problem with the outlet? Maybe it's one of those GFCI outlets that has a circuit-breaker that got tripped. Have you tried other outlets?

And yes I tried taking out the battery. And it can't be the circuit becuse everything else is runing coming out of it

What is the reason that you believe your N3 overheated? I've seen my Rezound's LED bllink red then green to let me know that it was overheating. Did anything happen to your N3 that leads you to believe that it overheated?

Was it in a case, if so which one? Did it feel very hot to the touch? Roughly what was the battery life remaining when it shut off? What were you syncing?

I was syncing Snote. The case I was using was the new Seido case with kickstand. I'm getting a replacement from Verizon. This sucks. I think I lost all my PDFs I had stored.
