Thats too bad, I was thinking that they were just closed for the Christmas and new years. But now I doubt it.

I have seen the same issues with Hero of Sparta. I have been wary of downloading the extra content for Dungeon Hunter because of this, but I did not want to be out of a few free 4.99 games so I did not uninstall. My email to Gameloft describing the issue was never responded to so I may have to just uninstall and not worry about this particular game.

Call me crazy but I want to beat the darn game first before uninstalling it, even though I am having the exact same issue. FC when I reboot, but that's it.

I had the same issue with HOS. I went back and forth with customer service, installing supposed new builds and what-not, all to no avail. They then admitted that the issue must be bigger and I can pick a free game. I chose Splinter Cell: Conviction and they got me the link via email almost immediately. I have downloaded the game already. I must say that I'm pretty impressed with the customer service, which is good because I want to buy a few more of their games and I didn't want to have a bad opinion of the company...

FWIW, I have hardware revision 0004, and they said that the game works fine on other handsets of the same model - so maybe my revision is the culprit? I dunno.

I was having the same issue on my Vibrant every time I rebooted my phone. Ended up just uninstalling.

Droid 2, Droid 1, Droid X, and Sprint EVO 4G all had the same issues. Crashed once in awhile while playing, but not often. It would however crash rather frequently from the home screen while not playing, even when a task manager said it was not running in the background.

droid 2 was mine, droid 1 is the wifes, and X/EVO are friends. We all had the same problem. Since it was only free for a day, we didn't feel like trying to uninstall/reinstall until it worked right. I did it two or three times myself, but quit after that. Can't speak for the others. I know we all ended up uninstalling and erasing from memory card. Gameloft games themselves seem to be a big problem in general. I am avoiding them like the plague.

I had this problem on my Epic. I found HoS in autostarts under Time Changed and Timezone Changed. I just blocked it in both and didn't have a problem.

uninstalled after the 3rd reboot. also right after I installed HoS my google maps started to fc when I do a search during navigation :-\ that didn't go away after I uninstalled HoS so it might just be similar timing

whew....I had the same problems so I decided to uninstall it for good. I have a Droid X

Add another "me too". I never have to reboot my Evo. But I decided to try rooting it with Unrevoked and that led me to rebooting several times. And each time, I would get a forced closed from Hero of Spara, even though I did not launch it nor had it been running.

Maybe the OS decided to load it into memory cache like it does with other programs and that triggered it to crash?

Same problem with Hero of Sparta on my Evo. I have Dungeon Hunter (free offer), Hawx (paid) and Lets Golf 2 (paid) and have no problems with them.

It is sad to hear about Gameloft's lack of support. I likely won't be being buying anymore games from them. They really should join the market now that the refund policy is changed to favor the merchants.

happened on my Droid X as well. The force closes seemed to cause a weird call error where the call apparently connected, but i couldn't hear it ring nor the person on the other end of the call. Uninstalled and reboot fixed it.

I have this issue with heroes of sparta as well. Don't hesitate to install downturn Dungeon Hunter though, awesome game that one!

Same problem here, on a Droid X. Uninstalled it and then contacted them via their website. Here's their entire reply...

I backed it up with my backup pro and uninstalled, I have dungeon hunter also but that seems to work fine.

Actually im about to uninstall dungeon hunter. My nephew was playing it on my phone over the weekend and it looked like a powerpoint presentation.

It just started happening on my rev 0002 EVO this morning. Other than trying it a couple of minutes the day the free download was offered, I haven't played it at all. Stock phone, no roots of hacks.
