Question Hey google activation and Gemini with unsupported languages

Hey.

Pixel 10 phone set to Finnish language and Gemini is in Finnish, but then Hey google function no longer works.
Why is this a problem? If Hey google activates Gemini and then it would recognize what I speak in Finnish and answer in Finnish.
Is there any problem in it to keep voice recognition in English and then it opens Gemini that is set to Finnish.
Gemini is only responding to this problem that this hot word detection is blocked in Finnish.

Could someone wiser tell me if this is an impossible idea and why it has not already been implemented?

According to Gemini Finnish is not an official language for Google Assistant. You can read more here.

Then I found this Google Support community post asking, when will Assistant be fully supported in Finland. It's from 2019 and there doesn't appear to be any response but several chimed in with hopes of an answer. You can see this thread here.

Here is a Reddit thread about this that touches on Finnish as an unsupported language. It's from 2024 and you can read it here. This is the only I read where people were saying thank you for the tips, so there may be something useful in this one.

I can't answer the question about using Gemini bi-lingually but it comes up in the Reddit thread.
