Am from Nairobi and am new here.

And to get started, I want to restore my upgraded nougat -Oreo (upgrade not update) android phone to factory settings but am wondering if after restoration, which os will i be left with? Original nougat factory settings or Oreo factory settings. Help in kind.

Welcome to the AC Forums! As for your question, you're left with whatever version it was last installed. Unfortunately an OS update also flashes it to the 'factory reset' image, so if you've updated to Oreo, wiping your device will still leave it at Oreo, just with no app or personal data after the reset.

Welcome to the forums. If you want to roll back to a previous version of Android, it's going to depend if you can find the files for download.
