While I'm long since retired, I was formerly a software engineer with both IBM and Siemens. So I'm fairly savvy. I have an older Motorola Turbo II. (Steam powered!) Running Nougat 7.0. Of late something is causing random crashes! I've gone through everything I can think of, but there is some bug causing repeated problems! Does anyone know how I can track down the offending problem? TIA!

Try putting in safe mode this will turn off all 3rd party apps to see if they are causing this or OS issue

What are the crashes like? Is it just that apps are dumping you back to the homescreen? Or is the phone suddenly rebooting on its own? Or is the whole phone freezing up, forcing you to shut the phone down and then restart it?
