I am complete nontech savvy. I have no idea what many terms mean and how to do things and it's so frustrating! My problem is I bought a micro sd card for my Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. It was a Samsung brand. It is 16 mb? gb? Whichever.
I inserted it into my phone and I thought I was so smart that I was finished and it would work. No dice. I had no idea I had to format it or what that even meant. I have Googled, You tubed everything I could on formatting. None of it worked. I was trying to format on the phone as I don't have a laptop readily available. None of the terms I understood. Fat something etc.
Can someone please help me in people speak on how to do this. I'm about to throw everything in the trash right now I have no more room on my phone. I can't update or do anything that adds to storage so I'm in major need of help

No music, mainly pictures and apps. I've deleted everything I think is nonessential. Also, is there something written about how to use the forums? I didn't know if I was supposed to ask my question there or someplace else. It is so confusing. I've never been on a forum so I apologize I'd I'm doing something wrong.

Sorry about the delay. A question like this is better asked outside the Introduction forums, as more people will see it. It is best to post in the most appropriate forum. In this case, the S4 forums.

The S4 did have a lot of space allocated to the OS. That cuts into space for anything else. Can you show a screenshot of the storage stats?
