Hi. Been a member for a while but never really got into posting much. I just upgraded from my galaxy S3 to a Galaxy S6 so I'm lookin to get some info on how to make it the best phone it can be (even with it's less than stellar battery life).

Ya know I really thought it was gonna be a bigger jump than it actually was. Maybe its cause I don't use phones to their maximum capabilities? Or maybe it's Samsung being so consistent with their GUIs. I'll tell ya though I really did like the dark colors on the menus and stuff. Having to use themes to get those back is somewhat annoying.

Many don't... And that's one of the reasons why the mid range phones are often such a good choice. There are tons of phones in the $200-$400 range that can do everything a person needs.

Welcome to the forums! Is it an Edge? If so, be crazy careful with rolled screen edge. When they heat the glass, it tends to weaken it in that area especially. One little ding, and I mean little, and it will shatter. Mine was just tapped. This little budget Beast I'm using cost me $20, and I've dropped it from over 6 ft high on concrete multiple times without a case! Not even a scratch. Gorilla glass. Moto e 1st Gen. All in all, I love my S6 Edge, so much we got S7 already. Theyre awesome phones. I would root it and let her fly. How high is up to you. "Free your phone so you can free your mind!" Get root!

No I did not get an Edge. I saw no need for it. I'm somewhat of a Spartan when it comes to phones. I try to keep things as minimal as possible. I actually only got this phone because it was my girlfriends and they didn't have an S7 in stock. She wanted the new LG phone so I took the Samsung.
