Hi, my name is Uncle Luddite and I am an Android user.

Why "Uncle Luddite"? Well I was thinking "anti-luddite"... because I have gone from years of flip phone, no-app, ten-key texting to Swyping on an Atrix in one hop... and I'm thrilled at having a computer-in-hand. But "anti" is kind of like "auntie" which doesn't fit me.

I searched and read posts on Android Central for months before taking the plunge. . .
- Android or iPhone
- HTC or Motorola
- Thunderbolt or Atrix
- AT&T or Verizon
- Atrix or Inspire
- Frontcam or no
- Locked-down or mod-able
- 2.2 or 2.3

I finally thought, "What the heck. It's only two years. Try it."

So here I am, thanks to all of the folks here posting great information and not pulling punches.
