Hi. Why cant I get my evo sd card on my Samsung J3 to work??

Ive tried shutting down removal of card asking help cleaning contacts, among other things card is new and 32gb evo. Thanks.

"Work" in what way? The phone isn't recognizing it at all, or something else? (If the phone just won't see it, try it in a PC or in another phone. It could be defective. (Yes, even brand new cards can be defective, especially if they're counterfeit.)
