Is there a way to hide apps. For example I don't use blockbuster at all so is there a way to remove it from the list
I believe Launcher Pro hides the app, but it still runs in the back round. In order for the app to not run in the back round and take up system resources you would have to root and install "Titamium Backup". In TB you can "freeze apps" which effectively stops them from running in the back round and hogging up system resources. You can always "Thaw" apps should you decide to.
Launcher pro has a setting to hide apps. This makes apps in the app drawer disappear. You have to run the Launcher pro as your home launcher. If you go back to Sense, then they will be back in your app drawer.
That stinks. Is there a way to suggest hiding apps to HTC? Possibly a future update
This seems odd. I have Launcher Pro installed and have set up some things. I went looking for the option to hide apps and my Launcher Pro icon is gone. I can see the reference to the program in Settings --> Applications but that doesn't give me the option to hide or do much of anything else. Is it normal for it's icon to disappear and if so, how do I get it back?
Delete any Widgets running on the stock Sense launcher screens, otherwise you will have unnecessary Widgets running in the background killing the battery.
Thanks, Cyber Warrior. Can I ask how I go about killing the apps you're talking about? Is that the Force Stop thing the apps have?
