hiding contacts with no phone number

Can't seem to locate where to hide contacts that do not have a mobile number? In my contact list I have loads of email addresses which is annoying! I'd prefer to have a contact list of phone numbers only??

Maybe you can find a way to do that in your "Contacts" settings. Also, you can head on over to YouTube - there's always a bunch of tutorial videos about phone setup for various devices on there. Good luck!

Thanks Morty. Yeah, searched high and low in there but couldn't see anything hence my post! I'll hit YouTube and see if anyone there has has more luck!

I have contacts in my phone which are random emails from things I have bought or sold so don't really want them. Yes I can delete them but there are so many that I'd be there all day, plus I have a wad of work email addresses that I don't want to delete but rather just hide.

Is it not possible to just have a contact list of just telephone numbers with the Honor 8? The 7 did it!!

I'm not sure if you can do it, all I can think of doing is to create groups on a pc, sync your phone and then go into menu->display preferences->customize to only have people from those groups show.

Easy way to delete without numbers by selection.

Select organise contacts
Then contacts with incomplete info

Then select contacts without phone numbers.
At the bottom of that page press the trashcan icon and it lets you check all the ones you want to delete before pressing the trashcan again.

Thanks both. Yeah I saw the bit about deleting contacts with no telephone number but it's proper drastic and I'll then lose work email contacts that won't then pop up in Gmail? Here's hoping EMUI 5 sorts it out!

Ah, this is emui 5. You can select which contacts to delete from the list of ones without phone numbers. No feature to mask contacts without numbers from your list.
