Hiding system apps or launcher

Are there any way to hide system apps?

I use a lot of different apps instead of the system ones and just having them in a folder is crap imo.

Was also considering using a launcher, but do they work well with the P8?

Do you mean hiding the apps from the drawer or disabling them? Using a custom launcher, like Nova, should be enough if you just want to hide them. To disable some apps that came preinstalled in your phone you can check if that's possible in settings - apps - all tab - select the app. Just make sure you don't disable any system app that your phone needs to work properly.

Before disabling any app make sure you know how to enable them back in case things go wrong.

If you just want to hide apps though, do a reverse pinch (to zoom in) anywhere on the home screen and you'll get the option to hide apps and see those you've already hidden...

Launchers work fine on mine by the way, I tend to go between Action 3, Nova and Aviate problem...

Point with two fingers and spread them and you are at the hidden apps screen. Point at the plus icon and add the ones you want to hide.
