Ok I had 6.0 for a while and had no issues with HiFont or GSam. Couple days ago I started using Project Fi and wanted a clean slate so I erased phone and updated to 6.0.1. Now HiFont will not change my fonts, I get an error this font is 315MB and system has 0MB available not enough space in System? with GSam I am unable to install the root companion. Anyone seen this or know what I can do about it?

The system partition in newer releases is almost entirely full. Assuming you are rooted, you can delete out some apps installed in the system partition (like hangouts or G+) and then, reinstall those apps from the play store (they will install to userdata partition) - that will free up some space in your system partition to install root companion etc.
