So I'm trying to figure out how people are getting Linpack scores of 40+ and Quadrant scores of 1600+ on their Dincs. I see the mods listed like Redemption rom (Which I use) and KingXkernel #1,#4 or 5, which I have all used. I have on occasion gotten my linpack score up to 40 but I can count them on one hand and the same with Quadrant being 1600+. Now I know that bench marks aren't really that important as the device runs fast with no lag and everything works just fine. I've got Setcpu over clocking to 1190 MHz and have never gotten close to the bench marks of some. So Whats the deal?

My quaDrant score is 1701 linpack 34 without overclock ... Most people use the old version of linpack with that one I got 47. There cheating

my highest quadrant score was 1789 overclocked 1.19 with just a bone stock plain vanilla rom. and my linpack was 43.085

I actually had higher quadrants running at 1.15. 1.19 has caused my Dinc to boot loop.

i agree with this...

EDIT1: i had it overclocked at 1.19, then it started to boot loop and reboot itself, so i dropped it down to 1.15. so far no problems and its been a couple days

i think you have the wrong person for that...thats my signature, but i never had an 1800 benchmark nor an image posted...

you have to have quadrant benchmark installed...run full benchmark and at the end it gives you this screen

i got the scores in my sig, using skyraider's vanilla rom and kings kernal #5 overclocked to 1.19 ghz (mine runs stable). i may try incdoes desire hd

Im New to the DInc and i am thinking about rooting based off of all of these benchmarks that people are getting when rooted.

Upstreammiami, i was wandering if you could help me with rooting my DInc?
its running froyo 2.2
im having a hard time finding clear instructions on how to root, plus i am interested in getting benchmarks that high :) (mine avgs 800 on quadrant)

your help will be greatly appreciated!

Look up at the sticky Larry I made in this section of the forum. It tells you how to root and unroot, step by step.

Also, Upstream is and has been a great help to members who want to root by rooting their phones for them. His acts are extremely generous and he has my respect for that. Though I do highly recommend that you should learn how to root your device for yourself. This is not meant to be rude or disrespectful and is not talking down to people who have had others root their device. I say this because it is always better to know this stuff in case something happens to you phone and the person who rooted your phone is not available at that exact moment.

All I'm trying to say is better safe then sorry.

i fully understand. im actually taking a look at that feed as i type this. i was mainly wandering how he was able to get such strong performance from his DIcn.

Benchmarks are impressive and all, but IMO, they usually don't reflect the real world speed and fluidity of the phone. Back in the KingxKlick kernel days, I would get epic benchmarks, but the phone would feel laggy and sometimes become unresponsive. Whereas some kernels which don't provide insane benchmarks have been the smoothest and fastest experiences I've had on this phone. Just my two cents, YMMV.
