Alrighty. Gonna be a pretty moot point when you see it releasing at a later date (maybe even not next week).

I mean...barring the logic of needing to setup displays, have dummy units/display units, and the time involved with checking in inventory and transit...

Folks are welcome to believe its gonna be this next week. I find that funny, but believe what ya like

None of that is needed if it is a web only launch at first like rumors said. Not to mention they are most likely not going to advertise these so no big displays and sometimes they don't even have a demo unit on launch day. Just saying.

I never said it was going to launch friday I was just saying they don't need everything you said especially if it did come Friday and just for preorders. Not saying it will just making a point.

If they are in the warehouse they would ship from there. Plus who said anything about shipping Friday? If they did preorders they most likely would not ship until monday. I guess you don't understand that they ship them from warehouses to people and not from verizon stores to people. This is exactly what they did with the i4 so it is definitely possible.

You are cutting into a debate that has nothing to do with your theory. My whole stance has been, its not launching Friday. Everyone who has been posting against me, has been saying what if, what if, what if...

There is no what if. It.is.not.coming Friday! If your debate was something else besides it launching Friday, then its not relevant to my discussion.

There is no what if. It.is.not.coming Friday! If your debate was something else besides it launching Friday, then its not relevant to my discussion, and hence, not relevant to quote me.

I said preorders fri are a possibility and you said no it isn't possible. I was just saying how it is a possibility since the phones are already in the warehouse.

I don't think that Verizon is going to spend a lick of time or money promoting this phone, as it's not a Droid or any other bloat filled device. Personally, the ONLY reason I think Verizon negotiated an exclusive US launch, was not because they wanted the phone, or because they feel it will be a big seller (they'll sell 8 mp camera/1.5 ghz droids hand over fist to the 99% unknowledgable clientele), but solely to take that exclusivity away from their competitors.

If we get our phones this Thursday or Friday, we'll both be really happy and I'll tell you, "I told ya so." If we get them later this month, we'll both be really happy and you can tell me, "I told ya so."

Nobody more than me wants this phone to come out this week. However, reality is rarely what I want it to be.

VZW wont be promoting and most likely not having pre-orders for this phone.

Hopefully They will have them in stores, so I can just go in person and get it.

At least with Pong you could press power to shut the dang Atari off. This just keeps going and going. I can't wait til they release this phone so we can trip the fuse and reset the main back to normal.
