hmmm phone just turned off by itself

Is it possible that my infuse is possessed? Got off work today went to the store, pulled phone out of pocket no respond. Sooooo I took off the case/cover/battery,out it back press button eureka!!! it works again!! if this happens a few more time Im just gonna take this to the desert and blast it with my Ak47. piece of crap!

Funny, mine did the same thing the other day. I've owned mine since June all stock other than some apps off the market. Phone powered off the other day and would not power on. Did a battery pull and now all is good. Pretty strange?.

I have been suffering from this auto poweroff issue for a while. It is random and quite annoying. I will be using the phone (email etc) and all of a sudden it will freeze and after a while simply turn off. Other times I will try to "wake" it from sleep mode (when screen is shut off) and will discover that it has been turned off for some strange reason.

Don't pull the battery; I just press the sleep button (right) and the 2 volume buttons and let go of the down volume button and it starts up again w/ the samsung logo... att screen ... home screen.

I have to pull the battery on mine or it wont come on at all,,even pressing all the buttons on the side...Yeah its pretty jacked up.

x4 with this problem. this phone, as nice as it is, is starting to be more work for what its worth... i fortunately do not have to always pull the battery

My Infuse shuts down and restarts bu itself, then a voice from the speaker gives some kind of notification. Thie happens several times a day. Did a battery pull thinking this would clear the problem, but it continues. WTF?

min is not rooted its bone stock, bought it in aug.
