Did you try restarting the phone? Try that, but other than that, there could be a problem with the phone.. I would try doing a full restore on it and if the problem still persists, take it into Sprint.

Well, most of the time, refurbs are just like new. I haven't gotten a Sprint refurb before, but I know that a lot of other companies do give a lot of time and effort into making sure the refurbs are tested and all components that didn't work now work without fail. I'm sure Sprint does the same, so I wouldn't be worried, and plus, refurbs also have a limited warranty on them (I think it's somewhere in neighborhood of 30 days), so that should help if problems arise immediately. Hope this helps!

Also, if you have had your phone for less than 30 days, you are entitled to a brand new replacement unit. The only thing is that you have to go back through the same channel you purchased the phone from. (eg. if purchased from a store, you have to go back to the same store you got it from. If from telesales, you have to get a new one from them and then they will send you a UPS pickup kit to send the original unit back.)

Yes, right, this is also very much true, sorry forgot to mention that.

I love sprints refurbs. I've never had a problem with the battery and the phone is thoroughly tested to make sure it works. It gets a lot more individual attention then a brand new phone ever does.
