Can the LG's home button be assigned to another action besides Google Assistant?

The basic Home button usage is navigate from any other
phone screen to Main screen. Also in Samsung phones

is used to access the Lock screen and unlocked
instead of Press the power button

also Samsung users - Tap twice the homeButton
to display the Camera and take pics around it..
