Hey guys,

I've had my Z3 for a couple of months now and it has been a great phone, but I have been experiencing this weird problem which happens occasionally. Whenever I press the home button to exit out of an app, it would sometimes lag a bit, and then it would return finally to my home screen, but with the font on all my apps looking all smeared/overstretched out. This also applies to the font in the app drawer. Sometimes the problem would correct itself if I switch back and forth between the app and home screen, but other times I would have to restart my phone. I was wondering if you guys had any input that could help me fix my problem? I am running on stock Android 4.4.4 and using Google Launcher. I also attached a screenshot

Correct, the problem always resolves itself upon a reboot. I've never had this issue on my old Samsung phone before, but anyways, I'll follow those steps to wipe the cache and hopefully it will clear and prevent the problem from happening again in the future. Thanks B.Diddy!

Darn, problem still occurs! Does this happen to you guy's too or is it just my phone? Maybe it could be Google launcher glitching, cuz I don't think I've ever had this issue before? Hopefully Lollipop 5.0 will fix it

I think the other solution was to clear the data from the launcher itself, but this means you'll have to set up the homescreen again from scratch. Go to Settings>Apps, select Google Now Launcher, and tap Clear Cache/Clear Data. When you go back to the homescreen, it will be empty, as if you were just starting out.
