I did a smart switch from my S6 to my new S9. My home screen pic did not transfer. It was originally from my gallery but it is now missing.... Any idea where i could find it? i imagine it would be stored somewhere on the S6. i went through the folders but came up empty handed. I'd like to find it before doing a factory reset.

Thanks!

Install Wallpaper Wizardrii on the S6. Run it. Hit the settings icon (the bars at the upper-right). Save current wallpaper. It saves it to a folder in sdcard named Wallpaper Wizardry.

(It's also buries in the system, but you'd have to root to get to it - Wallpaper Wizardry is easier.)

Rukbat, Wallpaper Wizardrii is no longer in the Google Play store. I appreciate your help.

after a few hours of searching I ended up installing the "Get Current Wallpaper" App and was able to retrieve and send to my new phone in minutes!

@Coach88 - I could have saved you a few hours if you had tagged me in a post (the @ in front of the name) and told me - I have a server up I could have put the apk on for you. Glad you got it done, though.
