Hello fellow forum members. I am an ex-software engineer who specialized in C/C++/Assembly programming mostly for Sockets layers or TCP/IP protocol stacks on the Windows platform. I have worked for Data Transmission Network, UPRR, and as a consultant for many years. I now run my own computer repair business, specializing in removing malware from machines. I never wipe out a system. I always find the virus', even the deep-rooted ones.
Anyway, I hope I can contribute. It will be embarrasing being marked as a newcomer, but oh well.
I have done a lot of reading on forums for years, but decided it's time I joined and contributed back; hence "Out of the closet". Perhaps in the future, I'll start developing for the Android OS.
My smartphone path is BB Curve 8330 -> HTC Rezound (unlocked, rooted, ICS) -> Galaxy S3.
